Dermal fillers are a soft injectable gel made from non animal hyaluronic acid that when injected into the skin will immediately plump out any depressions, lines and or wrinkles which help restore the face to its youthful look. Dermal fillers can repair volume loss as well as help,restore, rejuvenate and reintroduce structure.

How do dermal fillers work?
Due to the properties of hyaluronic acid once injected the the area is instantly plumped out which reduces appearance of lines and wrinkles
Can anyone have dermal fillers?
As long as you do not have any active infection, skin breakout, cold sore or allergic to any ingredients within the product you are suitable to have dermal filler treatment. Anyone on long term blood thinners may also not be suitable.
Do I need to avoid any good or drink before hand?
Before treatment you should avoid aspirin, high doses of vitamin E and Omega 3 for 7 days if possible and no alcohol consumed prior to treatment
What is the downtime of dermal fillers?
Expect some swelling and potential bruising for initial 48 hours however it takes two weeks for full healing to occur
Are there any bad effects after treatment/?
Hyaluronic acid is natural to the body so it is rare that any bad reactions will occur. You may experience some soreness and minor pain at the injection site. Some procedures have higher risks but they will be discussed at consultation
Does it hurt?
We can treat the area with topical anaesthetic cream (numbing) to help.
How long does dermal filler treatment take?
Treatment time is around 30/40 minutes but some procedures can take up to 90 minutes.
Anything I should avoid after dermal filler treatment?
Do not do any vigorous exercise for around 6 hours after treatment, do not have a steam/ sauna or drink alcohol also and fi not touch or rub the areas which have been treated.
