Anti wrinkle injections are used to relax the facial muscles which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. We can treat the upper third of face which is categorised as three areas, frown, forehead and crows feet. Individual areas in isolation can also be treat, your treatment requirement will be discussed at the consultation process which is always required at least 48 hours before treatment.

Anti wrinkle treatments can also be used to correct chin dimpling, bunny lines, a gummy smile and underarm sweating. Our Advanced Aesthetic nurse can also create a ‘lip flip’ and a Nefertiti neck lift with this treatment too.
Bunny line treatment
This treatment aims to minimise the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines that appear diagonally on both sides of your nose.

How do anti wrinkle injections work?
Anti wrinkle injections work to relax the muscles by blocking nerve impulses that cause the wrinkle causing muscle contractions, creating a smoother and improved appearance. All our anti wrinkle injections are prescribed at the point of consultation by our Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Can anyone have this treatment?
Suitability for this treatment is assessed at consultation where a full medical history is obtained. There are very few contraindications to this treatment, it is very safe when performed by health care professionals
Does this treatment hurt?
A very fine needle is used and generally this treatment is not painful and well tolerated without topical anaesthetic however numbing cream can be applied if you feel this would help with nerves
Is there anything I should avoid immediately after treatment?
Do not lie down or do any vigorous exercise for around 4 hours post treatment. Do not have a steam or sauna or alcohol for around 6 hours and avoid touching the area that has been treated
Are the results of anti wrinkle treatment immediate?
No, the results are not instant. It will take approximately 3 to 5 days to see and feel a difference with full relaxation occurring around 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we offer a review appointment and adjustment if required.
How long do results last?
Results can vary from person to person, but generally they last 3 to 4 month. Movement will begin recovering from week 8. Treatments can only be performed at 12 week intervals.
